LifeApps Digital Media is seeking a Data Analyst to support performance measurement across our portfolio of digital media properties, mobile applications, wellness platforms, and commerce-enabled initiatives. This role is designed for a mid-level analyst who can move comfortably between data extraction, KPI reporting, and business interpretation. You will help teams understand audience behavior, campaign effectiveness, subscription and conversion trends, and product engagement so that decisions are grounded in reliable analysis rather than assumptions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion performance across app, web, content, and email touchpoints
- Build and maintain recurring dashboards, scorecards, and stakeholder-facing reports using SQL and BI tools
- Partner with product, marketing, and content teams to define KPIs, reporting logic, and measurement plans for launches and campaigns
- Perform cohort, funnel, and segmentation analysis to identify high-value user behaviors and growth opportunities
- Support A/B testing and experiment readouts with clear interpretation of results, limitations, and recommended next steps
- Validate data quality, investigate anomalies, and escalate tracking or instrumentation issues when needed
- Document metric definitions, reporting assumptions, and source-of-truth logic to improve consistency across teams
- Translate analytical findings into concise recommendations that influence product, editorial, and commercial decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, product analytics, or a related role
- Strong SQL skills and confidence working with relational datasets and large reporting tables
- Experience with at least one business intelligence platform such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet-based analysis and basic Python or R for data cleaning or deeper analysis
- Familiarity with digital product and audience metrics, including funnels, retention, cohorts, and campaign performance
- Exposure to analytics platforms such as GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase, or similar tools is preferred
- Ability to explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and connect analysis to business decisions
- Experience in digital media, wellness, mobile apps, subscription businesses, or e-commerce is strongly preferred
